First Day of School for Sequim School District @ Sequim School District

First day of classes for the 2014-15 school year at Greywolf Elementary, Helen Haller Elementary, Sequim Middle School and Sequim High School.

Wednesday Morning Bird Walk @ Dungeness River Audubon Center @ Railroad Bridge Park.
Sep 3 @ 8:30 am – 10:30 am

Meet at the River Center for a lovely walk to see and hear the birds of the Dungeness riparian forest. Information from the walks helps us to understand the annual cycle of birds in Railroad Bridge Park

Open Mic Night at Nourish @ Nourish
Sep 2 @ 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Join Nourish every Wednesday for a family friendly open mic night. You will hear classic rock, country, jazz, classical, top 40 and some amazing music written by local musicians. Young or old, all share the stage so come join us!! Sign ups start at 6pm. Music begins at 630p. Dinner served until 8p and drinks available until music is complete.

Chamber Networking Breakfast @ Mariner Café
Sep 4 @ 7:00 am – 8:30 am

This is an informal (no host) breakfast meeting that allows business owners, particularly those in service industries, to share information about their businesses, services, and product. We do a round robin that allows everyone to present as well as ask questions. We meet the first and third Thursdays of each month for about ninety minutes.

First Friday Art Walk @ Various Sequim Businesses

Join us for a fun and free self-guided tour of local art venues in Sequim on the First Friday of every month from 5 – 8 p.m.

Our mission is to create approachable and accessible art venues and cultural activities that encourage the community to connect and celebrate expression and diversity.

First Friday at Olympic Theatre Arts @ Olympic Theatre Arts

First Friday at Olympic Theatre Arts features No Batteries Required, the Olympic Peninsula Men’s Chorus. The barbershop harmony quartet was formed in the spring of 2011 and has been touring the peninsula. The music presentation begins at 6 p.m. followed by a full stage production of “Rose’s Dilemma” at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for “Roses Dilemma” are $16. Come for the free music and stay for the play!

Back2School Family Fun Run/Walk @ Track at Stadium
Sep 6 @ 9:00 am

2 mile obstacle course offers fun for the entire family. Begins and ends on the high school track at the stadium. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
